Haneul Park is an eco-friendly park that was once a landfill. Every May, it is filled with plants, offering a different view from autumn, especially with the clear blue sky, the observatory, and the barley fields. The trails are ideal for casual walks and are enjoyable all year round for couples and families.

Found within the World Cup Park, near the Seoul World Cup Stadium, on Mapo-gu, Haneul Park is the highest point and is regarded as one of its most renowned parks.

Haneul Park features a staircase with 291 steps, making it a popular choice among locals and the quickest way to reach the top on foot. Alternatively, visitors can also ascend via the same hilly road used by the shuttle bus. As you walk toward the Haneul Park Stair, you'll encounter the Tourist Information Counter and a bridge that links from Peace Park.

If you do not wish to attempt the challenging 291 steps up Haneul Park Stair or the long, hilly walk to the top of the park, you have the convenient option of taking the golf-cart shuttle service departing from the park's entrance every 20-30 minutes. The shuttle provides a comfortable ride to the top, and on the return trip, it follows a different route, cruising past the scenic Nanjicheon Park before returning to Haneul Park's entrance. The fare for a one-way trip is 2,000 won, while a return trip costs 3,000 won. The shuttle operates from March to November, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and from December to February, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, ensuring a regular and scenic transportation option for visitors during these months.
