The Seoul Climate Card cashback program is specially available for foreign residents who have difficulty verifying their resident registration address. Eligible applicants can submit their documents during the application period and receive their refund directly to their own bank account.

What Is the Climate Card Cashback Program?
The Climate Card (기후동행카드) is a transportation pass that allows unlimited use of Seoul public transportation for a set period.
For foreign residents who cannot complete the standard address verification process, Seoul is offering a special 30,000 KRW cashback program.
Instead of applying through the regular system, eligible foreigners can submit their application manually through email, fax, or mail.
Climate Card Cashback Application Period

Applications must be submitted within this period.
Make sure to prepare your documents in advance because incomplete applications may not be accepted.
Who Can Apply for the 30,000 KRW Cashback?
You can apply if you meet all of the following conditions:
You are a foreign resident in Korea
You have difficulty verifying your resident registration address
You live in an eligible area
You purchased and used a 30-day Climate Card pass until expiration
Required Documents for Foreign Applicants
Prepare these three documents:
1. Climate Card Cashback Application Form (페이백 신청서)
You must complete the official application form.
2. Personal Information Collection and Use Consent Form (개인정보 수집·이용 동의서)
Both forms must be submitted together.
3. Certificate of Alien Registration Facts (외국인등록사실증명서)
Requirements:
Must be issued within the last 1 month
Must match the applicant's information
4. Copy of Your Bank Account Document
Your bank account must:
Be under your own name
Allow normal deposits and withdrawals

Important Rules Before Applying
Before submitting your application, check these important points.
Your Information Must Match
The information on:
Your application form
Your submitted documents
Your Climate Card membership information
must be identical.
If the information does not match, your cashback may be rejected.
Only Certain Bank Accounts Are Accepted
The cashback can only be deposited into a normal bank account that allows deposits and withdrawals.
The following accounts are NOT accepted:
Protected accounts
Savings bank accounts
Securities accounts
Virtual accounts
Who Cannot Receive the Cashback?
You are not eligible if:
You used a short-term Climate Card pass
You refunded your Climate Card pass
You live outside the eligible area
You did not use the 30-day pass until expiration
You request payment to another person's bank account
