'KPop Demon Hunters' Becomes Netflix's Most-Watched Title Ever

As of 11 weeks after its premiere, 'KPop Demon Hunters' has officially become the most-watched title in Netflix history. According to Tudum Netflix’s official fan site, the animated hit has amassed a staggering 266 million views, surpassing the previous record of 265.2 millionheld by 'Squid Game' Season 1 over nearly four years.
Released on June 20, the film centers on HUNTR/X (Huntrix), a K-pop girl group tasked with defending the human world from malevolent spirits.

Nearly three months post-release, the movie continues to dominate, racking up 30.1 million views during the week of August 25–31 alone. It also led Netflix’s movie charts in 35 countries, including the U.S., France, Japan, and Egypt.
The soundtracks, featuring music by the virtual K-pop groups HUNTR/X and Saja Boys, also making waves. On the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated August 30, the hit single 'Golden' held the No. 1 spot. Other tracks, including 'Your Idol' (No.4), 'Soda Pop' (No.5), and 'How It's Done' (No.9), also maintained strong positions.
