Click 로그인Use a personal digital certificate (개인용 공동인증서)— If you don’t have one yet, see the “Login Certificate” section below.
Step 3: Navigate to Business Registration
Go to:
[민원증명] → [사업자등록 신청/정정] → [사업자등록 신청]
Or search for "사업자등록 신청" in the search bar.
Step 4: Fill in the Business Info
Choose 사업자 유형: 개인사업자 (Individual Proprietor)

7. What If You Don’t Have a Card Reader or USB?
If you don't have physical storage for the 인증서:
Use 클라우드 인증서 (Cloud Certificate) storage
Or install the 인증서 on your smartphone using provider apps
For card login (e.g. 사업자용 보안토큰), you'll need:
The NPKI card/token from issuing bank
A USB reader or secure access device

The 사업자용 보안토큰 (Business Security Token) is a USB-type device or smartcard that stores your 사업자용 공동인증서 (business-use digital certificate). It provides a hardware-based secure login method used for:
Accessing HomeTax as a business
Filing VAT or 종합소득세
Issuing tax invoices (전자세금계산서)
Enhanced security for business owners and accountants
This is especially common for corporate businesses (법인) and sole proprietors handling large amounts of transactions.

How to Get or Use a 보안카드 for e-Invoice Authentication
Steps:
Visit your business bank (e.g., KB, Shinhan, Hana, etc.)
Request a 보안카드 for online certificate authentication
Register it with your business bank account used in HomeTax
When prompted during sensitive actions (tax refunds, linking accounts, etc.), enter coordinates from the 보안카드
💡 Many banks now recommend OTP tokens or mobile OTP apps instead of 보안카드.
