A little about the Mapo Circular Train Bus
The Mapo-gu Facility Management Corporation opened a city tour bus route on January 25th, 2025, so you can enjoy the marvellous city views of Seoul. The route starts at Seongsan-dong, Mapo -gu, Seoul (Seoul World Cup Stadium) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and ends at the same point.
It covers main touristic spots such as: Seoul World Cup Stadium (Mapo Agricultural and Fishery Market) → Sky Park → Nanjicheon Park (President Chung Hee Memorial Hall) → Nanji Campground → Mapo Bin Ryeo Animal Campground (Nanji Water Playground) → Seoul Yanghwa Naru and Jamdu Peaky (Sky Road) Dohwa Flower Road • Seagull Alley (Gongdeok Station Exit 9) → Gyeongui Line Forest Road Park (Yeomli -dong) → R6 (Red Road Square, Sangsu Station) → R4 (Hongdae District Retail) → R2 (Hongdae Walk Street) → Gyeongui Line Forest Road Park (Hongdae Station Exit 3) Mangwon & World Cup Market (Mangridan -gil) → Mangwon Han River Park (Seoul Ham Park).

The cute eco-friendly Mapo Circular Train Bus offers a 60-minute ride, 12 times a day, which gives you plenty of time to soak up Seoul's lively landscape.
It is important to note that they do not operate every Monday and during holidays. The operating time is from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Tickets can be bought at either the Mapo Tourist Information Center, the kiosks found at the designated locations, or simply online on the Mapo Circular Bus application. Starting May 1st the ticket prices vary depending on the person – for an adult, it is 5,500 KRW, for seniors, children and teenagers they cost 3,000 KRW.

Our magical train bus– a mixture of vintage and modern elements – incorporates Mapo’s Red Road mascots, 'Kkaebi' and 'Kkaesuni,'. Every hour, they are allowed to explore for a certain amount of time.

During the entire ride, the passengers are treated very well and are given interesting information about the city, usually, all in Korean.

The ride is worth it; it gives you a brand-new perspective on Seoul.
